Edna Kelly Doll Carriage Parade

A beloved Charlestown tradition for more than 60 years, the Edna Kelly Doll Carriage Parade is back to bring plenty of smiles, costumes, and neighborhood charm to Bunker Hill Week! Kids are invited to decorate their doll carriages, strollers, wagons, and bikes, dress in their festive best, and parade through town in one of Charlestown’s cutest community events of the year.

Originally co-founded by Mary Colbert to give children their own special role in the Bunker Hill Day celebrations, this free family event continues to be a highlight of Parade Week. Held at the Training Field, the parade is filled with music, laughter, proud families, and plenty of creative decorations — all followed by a fun neighborhood block party.

The event is proudly supported by the Bunker Hill Associates as part of the larger weeklong celebration honoring the Battle of Bunker Hill.

Registration for the 2026 parade is now open!
